JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Under the general and direct supervision of the IT Network Administrator and Corporate managers, the IT Coordinator is responsible for handling first line Help Desk support to all staff and computers and assisting Network administrators and/or Systems administrators in other projects.

Primary Job Functions

Troubleshoot hardware, software and networking problems, both onsite and at various satellite locations. Maintain existing systems and develop new processes utilizing the most innovative systems and minimizing cost to the company. Develop new forms and workflows to increase efficiency of the clinic. Implement updates as indicated by each software company. Maintains website and makes changes appropriately and creatively.

Performs preventative maintenance on all workstations on a regular schedule. Responsible for setting up all new user accounts, processing employee exits, and training of all new employees.

Communication: Communicate with all staff, patients, and other healthcare providers using phones, CPS flags and phone notes, secure messaging, and Company email; utilizing each method when appropriate. Follow up and seek resolution to complaints per policy and reports them to the corporate administrative team. Report all incidents as per policy.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is also responsible for keeping the front lobby clean and stocked.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This position offers both part-time and full-time hours

Travel

Minimal travel to troubleshoot various remote locations may be requested

Preferred Education and Experience

· Minimum of a high school education or equivalent is required. Degree in Information Systems or related field is favorable.

· CPR and AED certification is recommended

· Experience in Information Systems is required. Experience in the medical field is highly recommended. Experience in Clinical Information Systems is preferred. Pay is based upon experience level
